2014 RECRUITMENT OF PROFESSIONAL PILOTS AND ENGINEERS INTO
HE NIGERIA POLICE FORCE  
1. FIXED WING
a. CAPTAINS ONLY
Candidates should possess
1. Current NCAA endorsed ATPL with valid instrument rating
2. Preferably, endorsed Citation XLS+ Jet type rating on valid NCAA License
3. Not less than 3000 hours total time
4. Not less than 500 hours multi-engine time
5. Not less than 500 hours turbine time
6. Not less than 1000 hours in command
Candidates with Citation XLS+ rating will be given preference.

b. CO-PILOTS ONLY
Candidates should possess
a. Current NCAA endorsed CPL with valid instrument rating
b. A multi-engine rating
c. Not less than 250 hours total time
d. Not less than 100 hours in command
Candidates cannot be more than 28 years of age by the 1st October, 20014.

2. HELICOPTERS
a. CAPTAINS
Candidates should possess
a. Current NCAA endorsed ATPL(H) with valid instrument rating
b. Preferably endorsed on any of the following aircraft types: Bell 206, 427, 429 and 412
c. Not less than 3000 hours total time
d. Not less than 500 hours multi-engine time
e. Not less than 500 hours turbine time
f. Not less than 1000 hours in command

b. CO-PILOTS ONLY
Candidates should possess
a. Current NCAA endorsed CPL(H) with valid instrument rating
b. Not less than 250 hours total time
c. Not less than 100 hours in command
Candidates cannot be more than 28 years of age by the 1st October, 2014.

3. REQUIREMENTS FOR ENGINEERS
Candidates must possess the West African School Certificate ‘O’ Levels with a minimum of five (5) Credits which must include English Language, Mathematics and Physics and must be graduates of a Recognized Aviation Training Institution.
Candidates should be holders of NCAA ‘A’  & ’P’ Licence
Candidates should not be more than 28 years by 1st October, 2014
4. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

PHYSICAL FITNESS
a. Candidates must not have any physical deformities and will be required to pass a medical examination of physical fitness conducted by a recognized/acceptable government hospital.
b. Be of Good Character.
c. Must be free of pecuniary embarrassment.
d. Must not be suffering from any of the following:
i. Impediment of speech
ii. Gross malfunction of teeth or jaw preventing proper mastication of food
iii. Knock knees
iv. Bow legs
v. Bent knees
vi. Flat feet
vii. Bent arms
viii. Deformed hands
ix. Defective eyesight, or squint eyes
x. Amputation of any part of the body

NOTE:  All credentials submitted by applicants will be verified with the appropriate examination/issuing bodies and anyone who submits fake documents will be prosecuted.
METHOD OF APPLICATION:
All applications, including relevant credentials/documents, must be submitted to the office of the Permanent Secretary, Phase 1, 8th floor, Federal Secretariat Complex, Shehu Shagari Way,Abuja on or before Monday, 4th August, 2014.
