APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR 2011/2012 SECOND
CHOICE POST – UTME II SCREENING TEST
Applications for the 2011/2012 Second Choice Post –
UTME Screening test will be carried out with two online applications for all
applicants.
1.
Applicants
who chose RSUST as their Second Choice most preffered Institution
2.
Applicants
who did not choose RSUST as their Second Choice most preffered Institution
A s
earch page will be created on the RSUST portal for
all applicants. Applicants will enter their JAMB registration numbers and a
search will be carried out to check if any of their six preferred choices of
courses are offered by the institution. If the preferred courses are offered in
the institution, they will be displayed for the applicants to select their most
preferred choice of course for which to apply.
If the courses are not offered in the
institution, no course of choice will be displayed. This enables only people
whose preferred choices of courses are offered by the institution to apply.If the courses are offered in the institution the
applicants can then proceed to the bank to purchase the application scratch
card.
When the applicant starts the
application, their details which include the selected choice of course will be
displayed.
The applicant will then be required to fill in his
bio-details, upload his passport, complete their O’level certificate details
and print out their examination slip.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
The following are the procedures for the 2011/2012
Second Choice Post – UTME Screening applications for candidates who did not choose
RSUST as their 2nd most preferred institution. All applications will
be done on the e-campus portal http://www.ust.edu.ng.
1.
Log on to http:// www.ust.edu.ng and click on ‘POST
UTME II (SECOND CHOICE) Click here to check if you are eligible to apply’ link
on the site to display the search JAMB details page.
2. Enter your JAMB registration number and
click the search button
3. Your JAMB details and the preferred choices
of courses applicable to the institution will be displayed.
Note:
Your preferred choices of
courses which are not offered by the institution will not be displayed. If all
your preferred choices of courses are not offered by the institution, the
message “No match was found for the POST UTME SCREENING TEST in this
institution” will be displayed.
4.
Applicants
will be required to select the preferred choice they wish to apply for and
click on the click here to accept link. This displays the message “Your
details have been confirmed”.
5.
Click on the “Click
here to apply” link to proceed to the application page.
6.
If
applicant has successfully reached the application page, applicants can proceed
to the designated banks to purchase the application card.
NB: Applicants
can only proceed to the bank to purchase their application scratch cards to
start the POST UTME SCREENING TEST application process after they have accepted
their details and have been confirmed as eligible to apply.
7.
On
the application page, click on the ‘REGULAR’ link beside the “POST UTME
II (second choice) Application” to display Payment Details.
8.
In the textbox provided on
the Payment Details page, “Enter the PIN Number on your card”.
9.
Click
on ‘Start Application’ after you have entered the PIN number on your
scratch card.This takes you to the Upload Passport Photograph Page.
10.
On the Upload Passport
Photograph Page, click the ‘Upload Passport’ link to select your
passport photograph. Please preview and confirm that the passport being
uploaded is your correct picture; uploaded passport cannot be changed after
uploading. After selecting the picture, you are required to wait for it
to fully upload, and then click on “next” to go to the O/A level
results Page.
11.
On the O/A level results
Page, select your subjects, select your grade and click on enter to submit
grades for individual subjects.
12.
Fill in your O level
grades. Click on Add another result if you need to combine

Confirm your details and
click on PRINT EXAM SLIP.
